ઉચ્ચ પ્રાથમિક વિભાગમાં કામ કરતા શિક્ષકોને તેમની લાયકાત મુજબ છઠ્ઠા પગારપંચ પ્રમાણે મૂળ પગાર ધોરણ ૯૩૦૦ - ૩૪૮૦૦ ,ગ્રેડ પે ૪૨૦૦ પગાર આપવા બાબત.
According to the Right to education Act - 2006 and Gujarat Education Act (Amendment) Act -2010,in the state of Gujarat,the Primary Education Department is Considered to be the Lower Primary Education Department from Standard 1 to 8 and the Upper Primary Education Department from Standard 6 to 8.RTE According to the Act 2009,there is a Provision to recruit subject teachers in STD 6 to 8 According to the Subject. Subject Teachers of Language,Mathematics, Science and Social Science are Appointed as per the Above Provision.
Educational Qualification for Appointment of Subject Teachers of upper Primary Department Graduation and Training Qualification B.ed is Determined Despite differences in Subject Matter, Qualifications and responsibilities of lower Primary and Upper Primary Teachers ,Teachers of Both the departments are Given Uniform pay scale.written and oral representation have been made at all levels in this regard.
Eduational Qualification in Primary department SSC/HSC and Training Qualification PTC. Having Teachers on duty PTc AH Sc Then there is the two - year course. while the educational qualification in the upper primary department is bachelor and the training qualification is B.ed. having teachers on duty. Graduate and B.ed B.A. B.sc then there is the four /five year Course.thus , despite the large difference in qualifications between the wo having the same pay scale can be considered as an inconsistency.
