Education Department to Start STD 1 to 5 Calsses, Decision can be taken keeping in vview the situation after the election.
Due to corona , the government started nline education in march 2020 by stopping ofline education in schools and colleges at thet time online education was gien priority so that evven the students of primary schools in the state would not be deprived of education the govenrment has announced to start classes 6 to 8 from february 18 after a long period of 10 months with this the govenrment and the education department have started considering starting classes of STD 1 to 5 i march after the elections.
Corona cases in gujarat are declining day by day and now the situation is becoming more normal then the govenment gradually unlocked education and started the first U-PG colleges of last semeter and std 10 -12 schools. then STD 9 and 11 chools have been started and then first yer colleges have been started the government has also announced to start classes of STD 6 to 8 fromm 18th in the next phase.however there are complaints that the government has taken an early decision as teacher have been suspended due to the recent elections is likely to start
According to the ongoing discussionn in the education department of gujarat , after the local body elections the government is now considering to conduct studies and examination for std 1 to 4 and 5 to 8.sources said that after the elections consideration is being given to take the unit test of students of std 1 to 4 and declare the result on it.in addtion the next academic session has also been announced to start early. this time even the summer vacation will not be extended to the students. howeer no decision has been taken yet. the governemt and the educatioon department are considering this the officioa; anonuncement wil be made after the completion of the local body elections.

Amid declining corona care in gujarat , the state educatio deprtment has started preparations to start primary schools the director of primary education had ordered all primary teachers to be present in the school from february 9. until now teachers on duty in priamry schools were called in rotation . but now all the teachers have been called in addition all the primary schools have been ordered to work full time instead of morning.
