GUJARAT GOVT. TO PROVIDE FOOD ITEMS OF COST FROM 1st APRIL LATEST PARIPATRA.
Chief Minister vijay Rupani said on Wedneshday that the gujarat government will launch food items like wheat, rice ,pulses and sugar free of cost to families with 1st April lakh ration cards from April 1. The plan is to ensure that the poor , who are dependent on theri daily wages, are not affected by the 21 day Nationwide Lock down due to the outbreak of corona virus and do not have to buy food items in april he said
Meeting inn gandhinagar. With the entire country under lock down Gujarat has n=made an important decision that poor families around one lakh families or 3 crore people have ration cards they will get food items , including kg / kg of wheat per person . kg is rice. from 1 Aprill 1 kg of beans per family, sugar and salt free of change , said rupani. the chief Minister said that his government was concerned about the poorest families in the state and would continue to make decisions so tht major problems as the work is closed for 21 days.
